  Artist Statement

I’m intrigued and inspired by the human condition and how our relationships and experiences affect us.  My work is my therapy, meditation and a place I can ponder and process.

Most importantly I’ve found over the years I am the most satisfied and fulfilled when my hands are in clay.

I have been working in clay for over 10 years.  I’ve been showing and selling work in and around the Bay Area.  I also have had two successful solo shows both at Inferno Gallery in Oakland.   I learn and grow through my one going education in the field and my wonderful mentors, Susannah Israel at Merritt College in Oakland and Doug Browe at Mendocino College
